ELLA's 5th Anniversary Dance with Club 7: April 9, 2008
Come celebrate with us. ELLA has been running Wednesday swing dances in Eugene for five years now. Our birthday party is going to be a special dance Wednesday, April 9th with live music from Club 7 Jazz Band, food and drink including birthday cake, a raffle for free private lessons and a one of Club 7's CDs, and dancing, dancing, dancing!

We had Club 7 play at our very first live music event and are happy to invite them back for this celebration. They recently appeared at the Portland Lindy Exchange and know how to keep dancers happy. You can hear sound samples on their website.
Join Us Wednesdays at the Tango Center
The ELLA Swing Dance Club offers a dance every Wednesday night at the Tango Center. If you don't know how to dance, no problem, the drop-in lesson from 7-8pm will incorporate skills for all levels. Please stick around and dance with us after the lesson. Music goes from 8-10pm. Only $4 per person.

Door Volunteers Needed
Would you like to help out with ELLA? We need door volunteers -- trustworthy people that are willing to greet, take money, and keep the ninjas out. When you volunteer, you get in for free. If you'd like to be more involved with ELLA and want to help keep our dances going this is a great way. Please email Ceri and David at ellapeeps@gmail.com to sign up for your spot. who is ELLA?
ELLA is a group that is dedicated to expanding lindy hop, east coast swing, balboa, shag, charleston, and blues in Eugene, Oregon. We hope to share our enthusiasm for the dance with members of the community.
The members of ELLA sponsor a weekly swing dance on Wednesday nights at the Tango Center. There is a pre-dance lesson that changes weekly for beginning and intermediate levels. Check out the class info page to learn about other opportunities to learn swing in the area.
